No returns on completed services.
Fees for professional services already performed are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly provided for in your written engagement agreement.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to tax preparation, accounting, advisory, and other professional services provided by RH and Associates. Our fees compensate us for the professional time, expertise, and work devoted to your engagement.
Completed consultations, document review, research, analysis, and preparation are examples of work already performed, even when they are part of a larger engagement that is still in progress.
Cancellations and advance payments
If you need to cancel or change an engagement, please contact us in writing as soon as possible. Fees for work already performed remain payable in accordance with your engagement agreement.
Any advance payment relating to work not yet performed will be reviewed and handled under your engagement agreement and applicable law. Any cancellation terms or charges must be those set out in your agreement and permitted by law.
Questions about our work or a charge
If you believe a charge is incorrect or have a concern about a service, please contact us so we can review it with you. We will review duplicate payments, billing errors, and service concerns and address any confirmed issue as appropriate under your agreement and applicable law.
Include your name, invoice number if available, and a brief description of the concern. Please do not send tax documents, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial information by ordinary email; we will arrange secure sharing if needed.
Your engagement agreement
Your written engagement agreement sets out the scope of work, fees, payment terms, and any specific cancellation or refund provisions. If it differs from this general website policy, the terms of your engagement agreement apply, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
